Friday Funny, or Tart is a dork

This is the exact reason why you shouldn’t ever tell me “hey, you know what would be awesome?”

BECAUSE THEN I DO  THINGS LIKE THIS STOP!

and yes, she's wearing as close to a Brazil tabard as I could get.

I had to break up the Z's because of Blizzard's naming rules :(

Though in fairness it is an awesome bank alt/guild name (and yes, I totally /2’d BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzZZZZZZZzzzZZZ and got most of trade doing it as well. I’m a horrible person.)

ZOMG REAL ID!!111!!1!1!!1

Oh hai!

So per usual, posting is sporadic at best around here. I wasn’t too sure anyone would be all THAT interested in “yeah. I chained some instances and quested in the down time on my shaman” posts, so I’ve been pretty quiet. Though baby!shaman is decidedly not so baby any more. She did hit 72 the other night, but that is another story for another time. As you can tell this post is brought to you by my glee for Real ID.

See, I have a problem with Alts. I have far too many of them. And as most can probably attest, if you are a social person (even if only on the interwebs *cough*Mork*cough* <3 ) and you spend any time poking about the WoW Blogs, you will quickly realize that there are some very, very cool people in the community. Yes, like anywhere in Real Life there are idiots too, but at least it’s easier to ignore them! This fact led to my having alts all over the place. Oooh I wanna try my hand at teh RPz? Oh hai Feathermoon Alliance alts. Oh look, there’s some people on Durotan! And RL friends on Lightning’s Blade! And Dunemaul! And Earthen Ring! And … well you get the point. It gets hard to juggle all the alts and wanting to talk to people in the game environment when you are working and raiding and playing other games (gasp!). I was already running WoW through Steam most of the time so that I could poke at Various People while I was playing, not to mention the tabbing out to GTalk and Twitter.

But now I can have all of that in my game? Without tabbing? /swoon.

Now I’m not going to go on about the security and ZOMG THEY HAS MAH EMAILZ!?! aspect. It’s been done, and Anna covered some other aspects of it very nicely, so I point you there for those. I’m talking strictly from a convenience point. It’s DAMN convenient. You mean I can cheer StoppableForce on while he gets his Ugly Drake (congrats again!) while making snarky comments to PixelatedExecutioner and discussing War for Cybertron and attempting to distract Lodur from his SC2 match and still keeping up with guild happenings all without being on the same server as anyone else or running a separate program? YES PLEASE. The giving out of my email doesn’t bother me so much. Chances are the people that I’m Real ID-ing aren’t going to be flooding me with Viagra ads (and if they do I don’t really check the address I use for b.net much, it’s strictly an account address so more power to them) so what do I care? I don’t see it as any different than me giving out my gmail address to people so they can add me on gtalk. And guess what? My real name shows up on there. Though some people would be saddened to see that my super cool last name isn’t on my b.net account because I’ve not sent Blizzard my paperwork to have my name corrected.

Aside from what I think could make managing a guild a lot easier with GMs being able to reach officers even if they are on a bank alt or alting on a friend/SO’s server to ask a quick question or let them know about a raid change, there’s also the added benefit of making impromptu raids (hi there OMG WE HAVE WINTERGRASP WHO WANTS TO DO VOA runs!). Think of the benefit to having what could be a multi-server healing channel! Not to mention the shenanigans to be had with the broadcast announcements (BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!) and the hilarious conversations that I’m sure will occur in the chats during raids. Not that I’d ever do anything like that of course. >.>

Now it’s not to say that Real ID is perfect. It’s not. It’s a great start, but I’d still really like to see a nickname function (because holy hell do I know a lot of Steves, and Jeremys, and Nikkis, and Chris’s so it would be awesome to have it display what I call you too) and Blizzard’s chat interface is a little bulky and wonky at best, though that’s nothing new. All around the awesomeness of not having to be logged into a billion things at once far out weighs the giving people of my email address.

TL;DR? Good add Blizzard, I know I’ll use the hell out of it. If anyone wants to add me (or wants me to add them, either way!) just comment/email/twitter/gtalk me and let me know. I just don’t want to post the email address for the spambots. Though if you think about it, I use Tart for everything and it’s my WoW email and I almost always use gmail for things…. ;)

I am still alive, I swears

Hello again lovelies!

I hope you all didn’t miss me to terribly much. I figured I would bring everyone up to date with the happenings on my various toons, since so much has changed on most of them recently.

Tart the Priest:

I'm in ur raids fillin ur green bars

Tart!Priest has found a new home on Moon Guard in Nocturne with Shayzani and Co. She’s been healing her way through ICC 10 PW:Bubble style (so you know, full of floor tanking and random oh shit guys what the fuck is going on here?! fun) and having a blast doing it, even if there are always stinky troll feet in the fish feasts.

Despite my feeling of ZOMG-I-don’t-really-know-anyone-other-than-Shayzani, I’ve discovered that I really like Moon Guard and Nocturne in particular. Everyone is terribly nice, and tolerates my “that’s what she said” jokes on vent with a “my she’s particularly loquacious tonight isn’t she?” if I fire off too many in a row.

Plus being on Moon Guard means that I get to occasionally sucker the wonderful, talented, amazing @Baenhoof to tank for me, and I can noob up her heroics! \o/

Next up: Baby!Shaman

ok, so it's an old picture. Sue me.

Baby!Shaman (aka Totemtart) is probably the most played of all of my alts right now.  She’s over on Zul’jin with Lodur, Krizhek and Daewin and has ninja’d her way into <Unpossible>. (gee… I wonder how THAT happened. >.> <.<) She is 66 now (and as Stop put it is not baby!shaman so much as Preteen!Shaman) and omg do I love her. I love the totems, and windfury, and wolves. OMG THE WOLVES. Seriously you guys, I cannot express how much I love my spirit wolves.

Third up! Tart the Pally!

muffin tabard forever <3

Sadly, I’ve not gotten much time on Tart!Pally as of late. Due to Mandatory OT fail at work, I am not in a position to make the BoO raids that I love and adore. That coupled with the fact that she has gotten pretty much all the upgrades she can from badges (well, not Frost badges, but damn I’m lazy in running multiple heroics a night for them!) means that I log on, toss up some auctions, say hi to everyone and run around aimlessly for a bit then bounce over to the shaman for more totem-y goodness.

Don’t worry my dear Paladin, I’ll be back soon. I do so love your epic smashing face-ness, and I’m eager to try out Bacon!Hax as soon as I can get a weapon and shield for your holy set. (Though I’ve been told healing shields are much like non-DPS off-hands and simply don’t exist)

Lastly we have Tiovia (formerly Tartdarling 2.0)

I still want my Bricu plushie

Oddly, I don’t have a good picture of Tiovia, so instead I offer up this Screenshot of her earning her first Gkick from Arrens for liking the GMotD too much. While I don’t get much time on Tiovia (as FM RP Nights are Tuesday and that is also Raid Night) the time I do get is well spent, attempting to jump into the FM RP with Takani and Fallah and poking at Lore and Bricu and Anna, as well as running the occasional random. Some day I will have time to fully flesh out her character as I’ve grown rather fond of her and her shy, quiet nature.

In addtion to all my alt-o-holic-ing, I’ve got a couple blog projects that I’m working on (one of which may or may not be a requested Tart-take on leveling a bubble priest… aka How to Fail in 80 Levels or Less!)  as well as my birthday coming up tomorrow, and another eagerly awaited trip to the other coast this weekend.  I will leave you all with this last screen shot. Enjoy!

Leopold is so adorable. And excitable.

In defense of Ponies.

So by now, I’m sure everyone’s heard of Blizzard’s Celestial Steed  Sparkle Pony available for $25 USD in their store. Did I purchase one of these? Hell yes I did, and I was 166,000+ in line when I did. Did I enjoy riding/flying around in game on said pony on any or all of my characters that could use it? Nope. I still have yet to see what it looks like on my screen itself other than the 1 that I rode past in Dalaran. That’s right, I spent $25 on an in game item that I’ve not even used in game yet. Sure, I redeemed my code and had the fun of logging on to (most) of my characters and collecting it (and Lil XT) from their mailboxes and seeing that flash of gold light as they learned it, but not one of them has summoned it, and likely none of them will for a good few weeks.

Why, you may ask? Simply because I don’t want to hear about it. Yes, I spent real money on pixels. Why should I be made to feel bad about that? There are a few reasons why peoples hatred and backlash over the Sparkle Pony irritates me, but first and foremost is the “spending real money on pixels lol” argument. If you are using this argument, please take a look at the fact that you are PLAYING A SUBSCRIPTION BASED MMO. Guess what? That means that you pay Real Money every month for Pixels! Own a WoW shirt or hat? You paid Real Money to celebrate paying every month to play those Pixels. Honestly, with everything available digitally now, how is my in game mount different from an album bought on itunes? Can you cuddle your itunes purchase at night? Well, maybe if you printed a receipt or something, but still. Do you get more enjoyment out of listening to that album than I get out of never having to farm gold for a mount for any of my characters again? Probably not. Also, why the hate over the mount specifically? No one that I know ever got insulting in game whispers about having Lil’ KT or the Pandaren. I don’t remember there being YouTube videos about the absurdity of those. I know I’ve never had anything to me when I pull out my Wind Rider Cub in a PuG, so what’s the difference?

“But Blizzard makes enough money! Greedy bastards.” Yes, I know that Blizzard makes obscene amounts of money even off their subscriptions alone and could probably offer the mount as free, in game content rather than in their store. But you know what? That’s their choice. It’s their content, they can decide how to make it available in game. Don’t like it? That’s fine, by all means you are entitled to disagree. I, however am also entitled to agree with their decision, so lets still be friends m’kay? Please don’t take that as fangirl-ism, I will be one of the first to say that I don’t agree with every decision Blizzard makes, but at the end of the day is my bitching going to change it? Nope. Still their game, not mine and I’m not going to take it out on the people who do agree with their decision simply because I don’t.

“But by charging for it, not everyone has a chance to get it!” I view the mount as DLC, equivalent to that in most other games. Did everyone freak out about Mad Moxie for Borderlands being unfair because the content is there, but not everyone has an opportunity to play it? No. Just think if Blizzard said “We designed a new zone, with new quests, but it’s only available through our store”. Can you imagine the amount of backlash they would receive? The horror of all of that content not being made available for free to everyone! If it’s okay for other companies to do in other games, why not the Big Bad Blizzard? How is offering an in game mount different than Cryptic offering additional character slots for purchase? This is also another of those WoW is a Subscription Based game things in my eyes, if you can afford to pay to play the game every month, is it fair of them to assume that you would have the means to buy in game items if you so choose? Trust me, I was on the side of the “I don’t know that I will be able to afford to play WoW this month” fence for quite some time, but did I think it was unfair that others could afford to play or could afford to order Figure Prints or all the other shiny things I wanted but couldn’t? No, it never made me feel inferior. I mean hell, I want the Fuschia Drake and the Time Lost Drake but do I have the time (or the enjoyment) to grind all the Holiday achievements or camp Storm Peaks for hours at a time? No. Do I whisper the people who do have those items and tell them that they have no lives and are stupid for working for those items? No, that’s entirely up to them, and more power to them for it. Do I understand the “but I want the pretty but I can’t right now!” Hell yes, and that’s why if I have the extra money I’ll gladly gift the pets (and yes, even Sparkle Pony) to my friends. OH HAI EARLY/LATE  BIRTHDAY PRESENTS.

“But $25 is too much!” I can understand this one the most of all. Is it a little steep? Maybe, but it’s not as if you are only getting 1 and you have to pick which of your characters gets to use Sparkle Pony. They all can. ALL of THEM. Say you are maxed on character slots. You know own 50 Sparkle Ponies. Delete a character and reroll it? You’ve still got your pony. Plus they scale, so it’s not even as if you have to have all of your characters to 80 to be able to use it on them. Yes, you may get tired of looking at it, but hey, you can always spend gold for the regular mounts right?

TL;DR? People like their Sparkle Ponies, myself included; if you don’t that’s fine, continue to think us silly, I just don’t get pissy if I ignore you about it.

In which my insomnia pays off

YAY! Not being able to sleep sometimes has a purpose! I now present to you the long awaited Priest Class Changes complete with Tart comments! (DISCLAIMER: I am sleep deprived, holy priests please do not take offense. I love Fail Angels, I just am not one.) As one would expect, Tart!Comments are in pink. Because really, what else would they be?

New Priest Spells

Heal (available at level 16): While priests already have a spell called Heal, the existing version becomes obsolete at higher levels, which is something we intend to change in Cataclysm. Introduced at a low level, the “new” Heal spell will functionally work much like a down-ranked Greater Heal did in the past, adding more granularity to your direct-healing arsenal. If you need to heal someone a moderate amount and efficiency is an issue (making Flash Heal the incorrect spell for the job), then Heal is what you want to use. Heal is intended to be the priest’s go-to direct-healing spell unless they need something bigger (Greater Heal) or faster (Flash Heal). We will be following a similar philosophy with all the healing classes.  Yay for using Heal again? This is one of those where it’s like ok Blizz… you gave us stuff to make Flash Heal our main spell and now it’s like HAHA JUST KIDDING GUYS. But I’m ok with this though gah MOAR BUTTONZ for mah bars!
Mind Spike (level 81): Deals Shadowfrost damage and puts a debuff on the target that improves subsequent Mind Spike damage. The intent of Mind Spike is to fill a niche missing in Shadow DPS, though it may be occasionally useful for healers as well. Mind Spike provides a quick nuke to use in situations where the priest doesn’t have time to set up the normal rotation, such as when adds are dying too fast or you have to swap targets a lot. Spamming Mind Spike will do about as much damage as casting Mind Flay on a target afflicted with Shadow Word: Pain. The idea behind the debuff is that when you cast Mind Spike, we expect you to cast a lot of them; we don’t intend you to fit it into an already full Shadow rotation. It also provides Shadow with a spell to cast when locked out of the Shadow school. (School lockouts will no longer affect both schools for multi-school spells.) 1.5-second cast. 30-yard range. No cooldown.  Wheee for Shadow Priests! Something for when everyone starts to out gear everything and trash dies in 3 seconds! Plus the anti-lockout is nice both for the occasional PvE lockouts (though with all this talk, maybe Cata will see more PvE lockouts?) but very handy for PvP where interruptions and lockouts are more prevalent.

Inner Will (level 83): Increases movement speed by 12% and reduces the mana cost of instant-cast spells by 10%. This buff will be exclusive with Inner Fire, meaning you can’t have both up at once. Inner Fire provides a spell power and Armor buff; Inner Will should be useful on a more situational basis. I’m a little hmmm on this one. Good for getting out of the bad while shielding/renewing? Seems like another of those well maybe if the Cata bosses have more mobile fights (and reminds me of the shaman getting the YAY Being Able To Move and Hael! Spell that’s name is escaping me at the moment because I’m sleep deprived and too lazy to go look it up) and a good for PvP type things. Either way if it will save my 2fps ass from standing in the bad longer than I have to, I’m all for it!

Leap of Faith (level 85): Pull a party or raid member to your location. Leap of Faith (or “Life Grip”) is intended to give priests a tool to help rescue fellow players who have pulled aggro, are being focused on in PvP, or just can’t seem to get out of the fire in time. Instant. 30-yard range. 45-second cooldown. This.Is.So.Very.WIN. SOOOO WIN. SOOOOOOO WIN. This is going to be so much fun, both as a haha let me randomly yank the tank (tee-hee!) back over to me for lawls, or haha sorry rogues no more FoK spamming for you!, and as a YAY SAVE TART the player with the low fps! Also good for WSGs when the nubcake flag carrier runs somewhere they shouldn’t ;)

Changes to Abilities and Mechanics

  • All HoTs and DoTs will benefit from Haste and Crit innately. Hasted HoTs and DoTs will not have a shorter duration, just a shorter period in between ticks (meaning they will gain extra ticks to fill in the duration as appropriate). Yay! MOAR DPS and MOAR HAELS!
  • We want to bring back Shadow Word: Death as an “execute” — something you do when the target is at 25% health. YAY? I mean I know some Spriests don’t use SW:D at all anymore, but is it still viable? I’ve not Spriested in… ok well, ever.
  • While we want to keep the priest’s role as a well-rounded healer, we also want to make sure the class is a viable tank healer, which is something priests moved away from a little in Wrath of the Lich King. Greater Heal will probably be the tank-healing spell of choice, though we’ve also discussed giving Discipline a second shield so that they have a small shield to cast on lots of different targets, and a big, more expensive shield to cast on a tank or anyone else taking a ton of damage. First? MOAR BUBBLES. FUCK.YES. BUBBLESSSSSS. ok, sorry. I really like this. From a personal point of view, I would MUCH rather be a tank healer than a raid healer. Though I’m not too sure on their focus on GHeal unless they really do something about that cast time, but even hasted, it’s just too long. And srsly? The big heal taking so long it makes a 50k hp tank seem squishy? No Bueno in my book.
  • Divine Spirit and Prayer of Spirit will be removed from the game. As Spirit will be the primary mana-regeneration stat, we don’t want it to vary as much between solo, small group, and raid play. Blessing of Kings and Mark of the Wild will not boost Spirit either. This doesn’t surprise me, I figured that they would be taken out with all the talk of wanting to make mana a resource that has to be much more carefully monitored. And with the whole “Bring the Player Not the Class” motto they’ve got going on now.
  • Mana will be a bigger consideration for all healers. We aren’t trying to make healing more painful; we’re trying to make it more fun. When the cost of a spell isn’t an issue, then casting the right spell for the job is less of an issue because you might as well just use your most powerful spell all of the time. We are, however, getting rid of the five-second rule, because we don’t want to encourage standing around doing nothing. We’re also going to cut back on the benefits of buffs such as Replenishment so priests (and all healers) don’t feel as penalized when those buffs aren’t available. Ok, first off I have to say WTF. I’m sorry Blizz, even with mana being a non-issue, it’s usually not the mana cost of the spell that concerns healers, it’s the time sink. Doesn’t matter if I’ve got 75,000 mana if my Gheal is still casting when the tank dies. Secondly WHEEE for the replenishment thing. Not having replen in raids is just freaking painful.

New Talents and Talent Changes

  • We want to improve Discipline’s single-target healing capacity. One key is to make sure shielding isn’t always a more attractive option than healing. But.. But.. BUBBLES. Again, yay for Disc Single target healing!
  • We want to improve Holy for PvP healing. One way to do this is to make sure that Heal’s throughput is similar between both specs. This makes me happy from a balancing point of view. After there being so many problems in Wrath with Disc being nerfed in PvE because they were too powerful in PvP, I’ll be glad if they can get an even balance of priest healers in Arenas so they’ll leave my spec the fuck alone. Though, I really think that with the Rated BG system, Holy can become a much more viable PvP spec because of the multi-target aspect vs. the more focused healing of Arenas.
  • We want to improve Shadow for short fights and reduce its susceptibility to school lockouts. And all the shadow priests rejoice.
  • Discipline will finally be getting Power Word: Barrier as a talented ability. Think of it like a group Power Word: Shield. FUCK. TO. THE. YES. MY PONY AT LONG LAST. <3 <3 <3 MOAR BUBBLES!
  • We want to make Holy a little bit more interesting to play. One new talent will push the Holy priest into an improved healing state when he or she casts Prayer of Healing, Heal, or Renew three times in a row. The empowered state varies depending on the heals cast. Holy will never be as fun as Disc :P (again, ilu fail angels <3 i keeeed) This seems kind of cool actually. Making the spell you are currently using the most a little more effective? Wooo shiny! (just please Blizzard, make it sparkly. Holy priests need some shiny too.)
  • Since the Shadow tree has a lot of passive damage-boosting abilities — something we’re trying to avoid in Cataclysm — we will need to replace several of the tree’s talents. One idea is to play off of the new Shadow Orbs mechanic (see Mastery section below), possibly allowing you to consume an orb to increase damage from Mind Blast or reduce Mind Spike’s cast time. This has cool potential, even though right now it seems a little like “yeah… we know Spriests are kind of broken, and their talents are meh… but how do we fix them without overhauling EVERYTHING” Though I do kind of like the idea of the orbs being a little like Shaman Shields. WOO FLOATY BALLS.
  • Misery will no longer affect spell Hit chance. We want players to be able to gear themselves around a Hit cap that isn’t variable depending on group composition. Again, no big surprise here with the gear itemization changes.

Absorption: Improves the strength of shields such as Power Word: Shield, Divine Aegis, and Power Word: Barrier. \o/ BETTER BUBBLES! \o/

Radiance: Your direct heals add a small heal-over-time component to the target. woo HoT?

Shadow Orbs: Casting spells grants a chance for Shadow Orbs to be created that fly around you and increase your shadow damage. This will help lower-level characters feel more like “Shadow priests” before they obtain Shadowform. OMG Spriests get Shaman Shields! Or, for those of you that remember OMG THE TROLL SPRIEST FLOATY BALLS ARE BACK <3 <3 <3 YAAAAAY! I seriously made a troll priest and got it to 20 back in the day JUST for the Floaty Balls.

And that my dears wraps it up. Good night/morning/afternoon, whatever it is when you read this. I’m going to attempt to sleep finally.I hope my incoherent ramblings didn’t frighten anyone too much.

Now with 100% more bubbles!

And about 50% less fail!

A very, very, very, fantabulous, wonderific thing happened. I got my priestie’s gear back!!! Yes, Tartshapdbox of Darkspear-US is no longer sitting, unloved, in her (ghetto) PvP gear and fishing pole in Orgrimmar. Instead, she’s out and about in Northrend dungeons, playing Whack-A-Mole with the best of them.

And ohman did I miss it. I missed my bubbles (especially the soap bubbles!), and my PEW PEW LAZR HAELS. (or photon torpedo haels, whichever you prefer.) I never thought I would be so excited to see my crappy, weird, lobster-looking, off-hand of Naxx suck or my Cloak of the Skull. I seriously thought I could cry getting to run around Undercity again (without being attacked by those pesty guards, or the horde who don’t realize I’m a Crack Elf hiding in Space Goat clothing) with all it’s wonderful green slime.

Now don’t get me wrong, I really do love my paladin. Smashing things in the face with a big axe is terribly fun, and being the guild’s most loved floor tank (c’mon, tart vs Cirsi or Hunt? I’m soooo getting the heals.) and I’ve kind of fallen in love with my baby!shaman (who at 47 is not so baby!shaman anymore) but they just aren’t the same. There is just something about my priest. I know her so well, I almost don’t even have to think about playing her. I get into a rhythm, and it just feels…right. I don’t know that it is that clicks so much with me. I mean, level wise, my warlock was my main in Vanilla (Shock! I do have a warlock! She’s 72 currently) but play time? Totally my beloved twink priest. My hunter was my first 70 in TBC and I dabbled with gearing her, though heroics were about as far as she got before the Great Pet Incident, and  after that I decided fuck it, I love the twink so I’m going to level her. And she became my main officially. She saw every raid in TBC except Sunwell. The rest of my toons sat lonely and unloved because I didn’t even really want to play anything other than my priest. She is what inspired me to start this blog, and she’s the only character I every lol-theorycraft. She’s my achievement whore, and she even does the holiday events! And she’s one of the few characters that I think I could successfully RP, I can actually get into her head and I know her personality. Though she would need a proper name that I’ve not yet thought of. I thought about faction changing her to put her in <BoO> but I can see her rolling her good eye at the thought of being a Space Goat. She would probably Shadow Word:Death herself with no bubble before she let that happen. So now for the joy of finding a home for her. I’ve applied to a couple guilds on Darkspear (though have no fear Amber, just as a casual member so I won’t be juggling 2 raiding schedules!) and hopefully one of them will be the right fit.

Other than falling in love with my Zombie Priest all over again, I spent my weekend caring for the sick Puppy Butt (which I’ve plot pointed for everyone!) and using my lack of sleep to level my baby shaman to 47 and play around with Pokemon SoulSilver. (I CHOOSE YOU TOTODILE! <3)I leave you with my cheesy graph.

Is that a crappy egg I see?!

Friday Fail Shots – Round 2!

HAIIIIII! Welcome back to Friday Fail Shots! In this week’s FFS we have: Tartdarling, the Pally! Surprise, surprise I know. But hey, the raiding toon gets the most deaths right? Ok, maybe not so much with me, but to be honest I’ve not had much alt-ing time, so it’s kind of been all paladin all the time. *Author’s Note: Ok, so we one shot the first wing of ICC this week, so the ICC deaths are from last week. Amazingly I didn’t die once. SERIOUSLY. Ask anyone in the raid!*

First up! Go go cleaving trash death!

yay corpse explosion!

Oh, Gunship you are my mortal enemy with all your shiny and your rockets.

I'm a pro floor tank.

At least I wasn’t the only one!

Hi. We're , We wipe to the U.S.S. Lagship!

This is why they shouldn’t let me drive anything in any game.

Flame Leviathan: 1 Tart: 0

Poor Myss was my passenger.

This time, I didn't just kill myself!

So this picture isn’t a death, but it was just too bad ass to not feature. Ori and I are some damn sexy pallies in a motorcycle don’t you think? Also, we totally lived because I was just a passenger.

BEEP BEEP Muthafuckers.

Lastly, for Bricu of WTT:RP

Do I get extra points for ear worming the interwebs?

Until next week folks, Tartdarling, Navigator of the Fail!Boat out!

The Impass

Hello again lovelies. You may have noticed that there is a lack of PW:Bubbling going on around here lately, and a considerable more amount of Fail!Ret-ing. No, I have not abandoned my priest, in fact I want to play her now more than ever. But sadly, she is still gearless. Well, gearless PvE wise. She’s still sitting at about 500 or 600 resilience, but that doesn’t help me heal heroics or raids. Or really even heal battlegrounds, which I also miss terribly.

So, for all intents and purposes she’s stuck. She’s also effectively guildless. I could transfer her to but I can’t see her as anything other than Undead. It’s what she’s always been and I can’t imagine her being anything else. Plus, personally, I’m Horde at heart, so it seems a betrayal to not have an 80 horde and to be spending so much time on the alliance side of things. I miss healing Cows and Zombies and Orcs and Trolls (and even those prissy male BEs). I just know it would be hard to find a guild that would let me pop on from time to time and maybe occasionally poke around in ICC with them when my priest is still behind in gear. Though by the time I ever get her stuff back, she will be owed probably close to a hundred Frost Emblems and a few hundred Triumph Emblems from her “care package” as it’s been well over a month since my account was hacked.

All I ask, is that you please forgive the lack of Pew Pew Lazr Haels readers until I am able to play my wonderful, amazing priest again, and accept my tales of riding Navigating the Fail Boat as Ret, playing the Baby Smashface!Shaman (who sometimes haels!), RP adventures when I can get them, attempting to warlock yet again, and playing the many, many, many alts that have not seen much love because of my devotion to my priest.

Also, does anyone want to adopt a sad, forsaken priest? She comes with decent gear (if I ever get it back) maxed professions (tailoring/enchanting plus all the secondary ones) and an owner who will giggle and make tentacle pr0n jokes on vent. Pst for more info! By the by, I’m currently on Darkspear – US if anyone is there other than Duegles who abandoned me! :P (I still love you dueg.)
